I just had an experience of (lack of) slides yesterday. We had our exam in NZ fauna, and one question asked about "emerging diseases". Fortunately it was a choice we could leave out. I did the paper extramurally, using a studyguide, plus for most lectures, the lecture slides were placed on the web. Not so with this lecturer's slides. There was nothing in the notes about emerging diseases, so I presume they were elucidated in the lecture and on the slides.... that we never got to see!
Never mind.... I did quite well without that question anyhow!
One of the milestones on my way toward homeschooling was discovering that 2nd-graders in the ISD I attended (& I think y'all are living in) had no history requirement, but did expect the kids to be able to put together a power-point presentation of their reports.
Let's try that compound predicate again; it's the ISD that expects power-point presentations from 2nd-graders.
