Jimmy Akin on Evolution

Jimmy Akin had a very good (though very long) post up yesterday about Dr. Lawrence Krauss' published letter to Benedict XVI. Dr. Krauss (who is not, to my knowledge, a Catholic) wrote the letter (cosigned by several Catholic scientists) asking Benedict to clarify the Church's teaching on the lack of opposition between Church teaching and biological evolution, in the wake of Cardinal Schonborn's NY Times column in which he unleased a broadside against evolution which many considered a 'chance in Church teaching'.

Dr. Krauss' letter is on the whole good, and Jimmy's commentary on it is excellent. Defnately the best treatment of the topic I've seen out of an A-list Catholic blogger.
